Images of the Terracotta Army of the China Qin Dynasty Xi'an.  The site although over 2,200 years old, was discovered in 1974 while farmers were digging wells for water.  There are ovr 8,000 lifesize clay figures all placed in the original battle position to guard the Emperor of China in the afterlife.
